How do I compare my bike fit before and after a change?
Keep the camera and riding conditions consistent, label one change and compare the recording with your ride notes.

Save the original settings and video, make only one supported change, then repeat the same check in the same conditions. Compare matching pedal positions and your follow-up observations; a different angle alone does not establish a better fit.
Sign in, then start with your riding details and equipment.
Save the starting point
Record the bike, component settings, shoes, pedals and usual hand position before changing anything. Measure from the same marked points each time. Photographs of the original settings can help you return to them if needed.
Download the original video on the device that recorded it. Use a filename you recognise, such as the date and “before seat change”. Account autosave and a second-device monitor do not copy the video to another device.
Keep the comparison repeatable
Use the same compatible trainer, camera location, framing and lighting. Keep your riding effort and hand position consistent, and let yourself settle into steady riding before using the sample. Repeat the capture requirements for the route you are using.
Only make an adjustment supported by the guided process and within the component instructions. Write down the amount and direction of that one change. If you cannot safely make it or identify the adjustment limits, take the record to someone who can.
Align what you are looking at
Use the before-and-after replay controls to select the relevant recordings and align comparable moments manually. Pause at a similar pedal position, with the same visible side and hand position, before comparing still frames.
Review repeated movement rather than one favourable frame. Check sample quality and whether the rider or camera moved between recordings. The replay helps you inspect a comparison; it does not prove causation, measure pressure or establish clinical improvement.
Add the ride that follows
Once the bike is safe to ride, note what happens on a familiar route and how long you ride. Record whether the original concern changes, stays the same or is uncertain. Do not ride through pain or numbness to complete a comparison.
Keep the result with its setup and recording. If the evidence is unclear, more changes can make it harder to understand. Use your summary and selected videos for an individual review when needed; the downloadable review pack does not send them to anyone automatically.
