YOUR RIDING, YOUR STARTING POINT
TT and triathlon bike fitting
Review the position you can sustain on the forearm pads, then consider the practical limits of the bike and event.
What to record
- Record forearm-pad stack, reach, width and tilt where known.
- Check a sustainable position, forward view and the transition to the brakes.
- Confirm the manufacturer’s pad adjustment chart before using a frame-size shortlist.
Keep the result in context
A camera view does not measure drag or prove your position meets race rules. The lowest front end is not automatically your best position.
Without a trainer, choose the basic route. Uncertain checks can stay uncertain, and the next step may be an individual assessment rather than an adjustment.
